So Attorney General William Barr looks at the sentencing being recommended by the Hillary stooges in the Roger Stone case and he says, “I don’t think so.” 9 years for a bullshit ‘process’ crime? (Where they catch you in a factual error and call it lying to the FBI.) Rapists and armed robbers don’t get 9 years. Manslaughter doesn’t get you 9. So of course Trump has to open his mouth to the effect, “Damn right that was bullshit from the get go!” Not exactly helpful.
He’s the only guy I know who can take all that political capital he just got from the acquittal, the SOTU address, Pelosi ripping up his speech, the Democrats looking like idiots in Iowa… all that and he’s looking invincible against the rabble running for Prez, and he has to shoot off his mouth. Poof! All gone.
Does he have the right to express his opinion? Damn right. Should Barr have told the press to go fornicate thyself? Yes. Did he? No. Ay yi yi. He’s been doing this since the moment he “came down the escalator”. He’d be fine if he had thugs for staff who would support him 100%, but he doesn’t. He’s got a bunch of wishy washy leakers and power seekers.
