Frankly my dear, it doesn’t matter a damn who wins. Until we have term limits Congress will remain the lazy, incompetent, corrupt, cowards they always have been. They just defeated in May of 2020 a Bill that would have required them to put their investments in a blind trust. So they still trade stocks on insider info based on legislation.
The post title was from a FOX News article predicting this vast Republican landslide in 2022. What’s delusional is any American who thinks things are ever going to change or ever going to get done as long as we are without term limits. Like anyone who has been involved with politics the past 50 years I’m well aware of term limits.
There are those who say “We already have term limits, its called the ballot box!” Or those who say there’s no constitutional provisions for term limits. To that I say its only the future of the republic riding on this. That is how dire the spot we are in. Iowa has the poster boy for term limits, Chuck Grassley. The media focuses on everything but term limits. All they want is the eternal conflict for more clicks and more viewers. They really don’t give a damn about the country.
The only thing that even approaches the importance of term limits is getting back to real money.
