“Criminals” per se don’t commit mass shootings, psychopaths do. We keep expecting a criminal background check to catch psychopaths. They need to add 10 questions to the purchase form for a rudimentary psyche eval. (in a high girly voice) “Oh they can fool the test… they could do this… they could do that!” Yes, yes, all that’s true. But you know what? Crazy people are crazy. They don’t know they’re crazy. He told the whole world online what he was going to do. I got the feeling it would be worth a shot. So to speak. I bet we could catch a few. You couple that with requiring integration with mental health events, I bet we could start to put a hurt on mass shooters. That is the goal right? To stop these mass shootings? Or is it to remove guns from society?
