Word fear

Andrew Torba on Gab had an intriguing little piece last night. He said Business Insider had contacted him because they were getting ready to do a piece on the Q Anon phenomenon (say that fast 5 times). Quite correctly he perceived it was going to be a hit piece on anyone even remotely associated with Q Anon, even those like Gab who simply let Americans have freedom of speech.

I started thinking about the angle Business Insider was coming from. They want to squash Q Anon. They want to kill it before it grows (obscure musical reference). They feel that anyone who believes there is a Deep State is guilty of Wrong Think, and must be punished. They don’t want Americans to have freedom of speech. And while anytime you have true freedom of speech, there are going to be a few bumps and chuckholes along the way, it is imminently preferable to tyranny.

[What is “Q Anon” you might ask? Danged if I know, I just know it scares the shit out of the establishment. That’s good enough for me.]
