What’s always at the bottom of a scam?

This morning before I knew anything about FTX, I said “What do you bet both Bankman-Fried and the head of the SEC are Jews?” Yep. Because yesterday it came out that the SEC had been helping dear old Sam thread the needle so he could runaway with the money in the collapse they knew was coming. They did, and he did, and the goy got left holding the bag.
